The Love of NaNoWriMo Lives On

Now that NaNoWriMo 2015 has come and gone, Shannon Monroe is still hard at work finishing the latest novel from this round of the contest, Book 2 in her upcoming Romance trilogy. Her successful turn as first time host for the Come Write In sessions at UC Berkeley’s Doe Library will hopefully lead to future connections between the library and NaNoWriMo in 2016 and beyond. In preparation, Shannon was interviewed by fellow SFA-RWA member and novelist, Vanessa Kier, about her past experience with NaNoWriMo and also responded to a request by the Executive Director, Grant Faulkner, to share a short synopsis of why participating in the contest and supporting the organization is so important. You can read the interview and see her thoughts on the impact NaNoWriMo has had on her writing and her life at the links below.
